Child care can bring a big bite out of your financial budget. We encourage parents to seek economic support that may be available. Speak to your tax consultant regarding child care credit you may be able to claim on your tax returns. Additionally your employer may offer child care benefits as well.
This daycare is a participant in the USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) through Options Food Program. Children are provided nutritious meals funded and monitored by the program. Every child enrolled in Growing Minds is automatically qualified to enroll in the Options Food Program. The program not only helps your child eat healthy but helps our child care rates remain competitive.
There are non-profit organizations and government agencies that offer subsidized child care programs. You may be able to receive assistance for child care fees depending on your income or special circumstances. We are currently approved or previously been approved with the following entities through qualifying families:
Pomona Unified School District Child Development
Offers the Alternative Payment program to help pay for child care services for parents who are employed, attending school or job training, or engaged in other approved activities. Pomona Unified also helps pay for child care services under CalWORKS. Pomona Unified’s Child Development program services cities in the East San Gabriel Valley and West San Bernardino County.
San Gabriel/ Pomona Regional Center
SG/PRC is a private nonprofit agency contracted with the State Department of Developmental Services to coordinate services for people with developmental disability. They may be able to assist in child care for children covered by their services.
Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services
Children under the Supervision of DCFS or have an open DCFS case may be eligible to receive child care assistance.
